Before you begin: This guide helps establish identity through the DMDC Mission Partner registration process. It does not grant access to individual SCIP applications. After your DoW-linked identity is available, submit an ICAM request for each applicable application.

Common Registration Issues
- Unable to complete registration: Record the exact error message before seeking support.
- Identity information mismatch: Verify all entered information before attempting registration again.
- Current or renewed credential: Ensure the credential currently inserted in the card reader is the one you intend to register.
- Temporary website error: Close the browser, clear the browser cache if appropriate, reopen the browser, and try again.
- PIN issue or locked credential: Contact the organization that issued the credential.
- Registration completed but application access is unavailable: Complete the required ICAM application access request. DMDC registration establishes identity only.
Important Reminders
- Do not register a non-DoD credential if you already have a DoW CAC.
- Complete registration in one session. Do not exit the application before submission.
- When you receive a new or renewed credential, complete registration again for the current credential.
- Identity creation typically takes 48 hours.
- After the DMDC process is complete, use the Universal ICAM Registration Guide to request access to each required application.
